First Community Bank Opens New Office in Blythewood

April 23, 2015 (Lexington, S.C.) – First Community Bank announces the opening on April 9th of its newest banking office in the Town of Blythewood, South Carolina. The 3,000 square foot building, located at 201 Main Street, gives the Lexington-based community bank its 15th location and second in Northeast Columbia.

Alan George, First Community Bank Vice President and Commercial Banker, will lead the Blythewood office. He has been with the bank for almost twelve years and previously managed the First Community office on Two Notch Road. Customers will enjoy the same commitment to service they have come to know at other Midlands locations and will have expanded access to commercial and retail banking, mortgage banking and financial planning and investment advisory services.

Designed by local architecture firm Jenkins Hancock & Sides and built by Cohn Construction, the building is easily accessible right on Main Street and includes three drive-through lanes and a drive-up ATM lane. The new office is constructed in a classic southern style with brick exterior and stucco accents — a signature architectural design used consistently by First Community in many of its markets. The lobby and drive-through lanes will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday.

First Community Bank, founded in 1995 and headquartered in Lexington, South Carolina, is a wholly owned subsidiary of First Community Corporation (NASDAQ: FCCO).
